The bookmarker cookie

Monday, May 28th, 2007

As you may or may not have noticed, ComicPress has a very cool feature, called “tag page”. It’s a row of buttons, located just above the calendar on the sidebar and it allows you to bookmark any page in the site, via a cookie set in your browser cache.

This is cool because if you decide to read all the strips from the beginning and are interrupted, you can click the “tag page” button to mark the strip you were on when interrupted (to go beat up the person who caused the interruption, for example).

When you come back to the site, you just click the “go to tag” button and hey presto: you’re back where you left off and there was no need to junk up your bookmarks folder.

Cool, huh?

Updates

Friday, November 30th, 2007

Time for making comics has been really scarce lately so the only update I can announce is in the back-side of things, so to speak.

Life is simple is now running WordPress 2.3.1 and ComicPress 2.1. Upgrades went smoothly as always.

While I don’t update LIS, check out my other comic strip The Specialists.
